I Don't Read Manuals

Last weekend I paid 20bucks for a ticket to the Bird Park. I took out my camera to take a few pics, and I noticed that the view in my viewfinder was blurred. I tried snapping a few pics and it came out sharp and detailed. But when I looked into the viewfinder again I was still blurred.

Immediately I concluded that my camera was faulty and I started thinking of the huge amount of money it was going to cost me to fix it.

Lost all my mood to take pics so I just snapped a few peacocks and some other birds there. Spent about 2 hours before I headed back dejected.

So from about 20-30 pics, only two were up to scratch. So here you go, since the admission fee was 20 bucks, each pics below are worth 10 bucks. Hahahaha....



So at home, I started yahoo-ing the reasons for my blurred image, Trying to see how much money I can spare to repair my camera when I so happened to find the solution for it.

All I had to do was adjust the diopter a bit. Problem solved. If only I had read the manual, could have saved me a lot of trouble.

Ah well, I'm a guy, I don't read manuals. I also don't ask for directions.

Finally, the Rock has come back to Monday nite RAW

I haven't watched wrestling in a loooong time, mostly because its been getting boring, with the likes of HHH and Undertaker always winning the Championship and the storyline too has been getting a bit lame. But a few months back, while channel surfing, I happened to land on an episode of RAW and it got me watching again. WWE has finally given more chances to its younger wrestlers. The talented wrestlers like Randy Orton and John Morrison were finally getting the shot they deserve.

Things were getting interesting, but that all changed tonite. The Rock finally returned after 6 long years. He started talking smack, putting people in their places. And something just clicked, even though the past few months of wrestling were interesting, tonites RAW with the Rock is how wrestling is supposed to be. How it used to be.

Enough of the PG era, it's time to bring back the Attitude era!

Yes, I love wrestling and I'm not ashamed to admit it.

PS:-I used to think that John Cena was doing a good job as the Rocks replacement, but after watching the Rock, Cena just sucks and is no where near the Rocks caliber.

Life Happens

Today as I was heading back to the office I just happened to come across five bucks just laying there on the ground. Without so much of a second thought, I picked it up, put in my wallet and forgot all about it.

After work while driving back, I suddenly remembered the five bucks I found. Then I remembered something that happened when I was at school a few ('few' is understating it) years back. Same situation, found ten bucks laying on the ground, looked around to see if anybody had dropped it, not seeing anyone, picked it up, put it in my wallet and then gave the ten bucks to charity.

What ever happened to that kid?

Since I promised that there wouldn't be any more rant post, I got nothing much to write. As much as I would like to rant, trust me, I got loads of reasons why, but a promise is a promise.

So since I got nothing, and I wanted to post something, here's a picture. I haven't been anywhere notable in these past few months, so it's an old one from the AFAX Convention.

Deja Vu

"Three weeks into the new year and there has been three public holidays already. And I've been to work all three days... "

My firms annual dinner was last week.

Amazing. Great MC, delicious food, fun games, amazing gifts... it was absolutely perfect.

Last year.

I know the staff turnover is high in an audit firm, and for 85% of the people attending the dinner it'll be a new experience, but for the 15% that actually survived for more than one year, come on la, think of something new. We deserve something new.

I realise most of my post this year has been rants and complains, so this will be my last complaint post for the year.

Promise.

You forgot to mention the ungodly working hours and zero benefits.

Rant over. It's always nice to have a blog that no one reads, where you can rant and complain all you want.

If I just realised this today, does that mean I've never been tired before? If I've never felt tired before, does that mean I'm getting old?

Welcome 2011

Haven't had the time to process the new year. Still writing the dates as 2010 instead of 2011.

This peak is really sumthing else... haven't had a weekend rest yet. Late nights like no other, guess thats what to expect now. But still, I'm damn tired, trying to do 4 jobs at once...

The best news is, the peakest of peaks hasn't even started yet...
